Where were you?

i was asleep and my cell rang none stop for about 10 min so i woke up to answer it and just as it started to ring again my neibor started pounding on my door so i was shaken up a bit thinking that something bad must have happen . i turned on the tv just in time to see the 2nd plane hit but thought it was just tape of the first plane and as i listen further to hear it was another plane i thought it was the begining of something like world war 3 .

passed out in my bed with 2 girls from the night before…i’ll never forget 9/10/2001

waiting for my 9:15 shakespeare class to start w/ one hell of a hangover. then when the plane went down in somerset, every fuckign road in johnstown was just about shut down. so i ran and put gas in the cabby while i could.

i was up all night working on a school project. woke up with like an hour of sleep to one of the guys on my floor pounding on my door. It was like a crazy dream. I did not believe what i was seeing at first. I was a RA that year at school so I was stuck in my room all day dealing with residents.

At wccc in foundations of education. left class early and went to lunch hall where the dean told us to leave cause of the plane over somerset. I went to a friends and watched the news. it was a very long day for sure.

I was in the McDonalds on Forbes when some crazy bag lady was talking about a plane hitting the towers. We all thought she was nuts until she turned up her little radio and we could hear her listening to Howard Stern and then he announced the 2nd plane hit and the entire McDonalds just emptied. It was weird.

I agree with everyone else about traffic. From Oakland to West Mifflin took me and my boy over 3 hours.

I was at work and the wife called about the first plane. I thought it was just an accident. Then she called about the second plane, then the reality set in. When she called about the pentagon, I almost shit! All we had were radios and internet. My kids were in school. I wanted to leave and get them and go home and watch tv, but we were too busy. I don’t remember what station we were listening to, but the lady was talking and all of a sudden she freaked out and said the one tower was collapsing. I will never forget that day, especially seeing no planes in the sky later.

Doing some database testing at Xerox, and spending most of the time on cnn.com.

That was weird, especially living under an air route a couple miles from Greater Pitt.

calling my mom to wish er a happy b-day…she told me she is changing her birthday, and to put on the t.v.

Standing on the 2nd story of a newly framed structure, we actually had just started running the 2x10 roof rafters, our laborer was active military, we heard it on stern at the moment the report come across, me and the other 3 guys thought it was an accident, the military laborer yelled up from the ground and said it was “bin Laden” you dumb asses.
we sat on the rafters the rest of that day listening to the radio, we didnt shoot another nail, or cut another board.
man i hope my old boss dont read this…

billy beastmode and myself were in Mean Gene’s CADD class at Sparkway
