That’s one of my 2 fueling points that I have used for years. My last tank came from there on June 5th and my car is running like a bag of shit so beware.
FYI, It’s currently $3.07/gal there.

2.99 in clifton park. cumberland farms
$2.99/gal @ Mobil on South Broadway in Saratoga, that’s where I usually fill up.
I have had good results from SUNY Mobil across from Sutters. Its the closest station to my Apt.
You are missing the point, the price per gallon is not directly comparable. It’s still a point A to point B fuel if you don’t have the means to switch tunes on the fly. As a daily driver fuel, it’s not any cheaper than premium. You have to account for the ~30-40% increase in fuel consumption when on e85.
I think checking Ethanol content every time you fill in the direct summer months is dumb. But that’s just me. Tune shouldn’t be ragged edge anyways.
It’s never a BAD idea and it depends on who tunes it. I change my tune so often that it’s usually right on the edge. I prefer to tune when the E content is high so it goes rich if anything. /PJB85
Why risk a high dollar engine on a possible bad tank of E"85"? But that’s just me. Sensor is $600 and an easy install. Test tube costs next to nothing and gives you results in 5 minutes.
FWIW, I saw ZERO change in AF ratio going from E81 to E76. Someday when I feel like it, I’ll compare E85 to E70.
I don’t know how the Evo ECM’s work, but GM’s will take the LTFT’s into account when calculating fuel in power enrichment mode as well. I typically don’t worry about it myself. I am quite sure this last tank of e85 was bad (contaminated or high moisture content) because of the way it’s running.
I’m open loop 100% of the time.
Word. Even that doesn’t matter on GM’s because they still use o2 feedback in open loop unless you specify it to do otherwise.
Silly IMO. Closed loop FTW for anything under 110kpa.
^ THIS
I have my car adjust the AFR up to +/-10% when closed loop is active. Once into boost the wideband can’t react quick enough so I wouldn’t trust it on a boosted application. I know plenty of cars the run open loop on the whole map, granted they are N/A.
Works great.
Could also be why you get 15mpg on the highway :dunno
Uh, the car gets like 23 on the highway stock, I don’t think I’m doing that bad (tripled the factory horsepower rating, 2200CC injectors and E85 which is going to get worse mileage to start with). Try again:tongue
Hmm
It really doesn’t matter how much HP the car makes, or how big the fuel pump is, or how large the injectors are really. The engine is still only 2.xx liters and the required fuel for cruise shouldn’t be much different. Yes, the pump/s move more volume and yes the injectors will flow more fuel but they should be open a fraction of the time and the rest will find it’s way back to your tank. E85, will 100% make the mileage go down…not arguing that.
FWIW, my 200 got 23-25 in stock form and on a recent trip to Carlisle, PA with an 044 pump, injectors twice the size of stock and making at least double the power it made from the factory and I got 29-30mph highway.
What is your cars lambda/afr at during cruise?
