Pioneer Kuro’s had some of the lowest MLL readings when it came to blacks and still do 3 years later after they have stopped being produced
FULL LOCAL DIMMING LED TV’s, technically are black when they shut off the LED’s in a specific scene, but the technology is still a little flawed as you get halo effects from led’s being off while others next to it beign on etc. Also their contrast ratios still are not anywhere near a plasmas (im not talking about dynamic thats listed on the side of the boxes)
To get the BEST blacks and overall PQ … Plasmas still rain supreme in the market with the videophiles…
When OLED TV’s come out (if they come out) will more than likely blow everything away.
