I currently have the new Razr with the MP3 player in it. I have it through verizon, and they said that they would upgrade me to the Krzr if I wanted it. Does anyone know how much thinner it is?
they have red and lime green chocolate out now
i just picked up the xv6700…
why are you limited to motorola? for verizon, theyre pieces of crap.
the q is not a pda phone
Tell me what it is then.
Windows Mobile makes the phone more of a PDA smartphone than anything else. And Windows Mobile w/o touch screen = silly.
I’ve had an XV6700 for awhile and love the thing.
it is a “smartphone” it has very minimal features as copmared to a pda phone
i just picked up the lg vx8600 , lol no more krzr
:word: they are sweet.
I heard they are pretty hard to text with
chocolate flip LG VX 8600 FTW
Bump because I’m mulling over my options too.
What do you all think of the Samsung i730?
You don’t HAVE to pay for data service just to have a PDA phone right?
on some you do, i dont think the samsung needs it though. but really, if you arnt using the phone for data, there are some other options.
Well basically I could get by perfectly fine carrying a cell phone and PDA, but why carry one thing instead of two?
What I want to do is:
-Make phone calls
-Send the occassional text message
-Have a digital calendar in my pocket, preferrably that I can sync with my home and work computers
-Track my spending
-Have some sort of map program (not GPS navi, just like Microsoft Streets and Trips in my pocket.)
-Maybe go online once in a while just to play around
-Carry/view/edit a couple office docs
That’s about it. I’ve played with the idea of getting the smallest most reliable cell phone Verizon offers and a Palm TX. That has its up-sides, but I figured what have 2 things when I only need one.
What I’m not willing to do is pay an extra $50/month to always have internet in my pocket.
got the LG env for 50 bucks after mail in rebate and love it
there is a pay as you go style data package, $0.015 /kb
there is also a $20 pack i think, for 10 MB of bandwidth
or just dont use it.
sms/mms is on top of that.
the 9900 will use wireless sync for pop 3 /calander/contacts $5/month
not a bad option, its one im looking at myself.
