who is winter driving their 240?

I would reccommend against underwashing as the pressure washer will push the salt solution into crevaces where it would normally not reach if that spot was already filled with snow.,

but hey, to each his own…

storing the kouki mid nov, once wet leaves/snow hit the ground. pulling out the zenki S14.

you love the probe and you know it  Turn your boost back down and we’ll have a race between your 180 and my winter beater :stuck_out_tongue: I don’t have drag radials for it anymore but it still might get into the high high 13s.

Then when I’m done I’ll sell Keez my engine so he can finally accomplish his dream of having a klze 323

winter driving 240sx’s is really the most fun.

who cares if they rust, just buy a new one

Bought the 240 as a winter beater. It’s in pretty good shape though, so I’ve fixed (or am currently fixing) what rust it had and rustproofing before the winter. Winter beater or not, there’s no sense destroying it completely.

Welding 1/8" galvanized plate over both frame rails where they meet the firewall, removed the spoiler and welded up the holes in the hatch with 22ga steel, coating the entire underbody with rubberized rockerguard as well as in the quarter panels. Sanding, filling, and painting any small rust spots on the body before they get bigger. The car has been oil sprayed several times in the past, so I intend to have that re-done using the same holes.

First thing in the spring she’ll get a fresh full paintjob.
