The cops work with Dateline NBC and use the chat logs as evidence against them in court, don’t ask me how it works, they just say thats evidence. Who knows, at the end of the show it says the person gets arrested and convicted, maybe they lie who knows. Seems to me like if you type “I’ll bring you peanut M&M’s and then fuck your underage little ass” and then you show up with peanut M&M’s to a underage persons house with condoms in your pocket… that’s kinda hand in the cookie jar right there.

I don’t know how seriously the DEC takes the crime of a car being dumped in a preserve area. It wouldn’t be too hard to run the VIN, go talk to the previous owner. Take the bill of sale plus the posts of him bragging about it and you have a decent circumstantial case. At that point they probably offer “admit the charge and fine will be $XXX, or fight it and if you lose fine with be $XXXXX”.
Do you honestly think somone who can’t pay in full for a $500 car is going to have money for a decent lawyer and court fight?

lol not complementary. It’s like $4.50 for all the english muffins, pancakes, eggs, home fries, bacon, and sausage that you can stuff into a styrofoam box. It’s all pretty low quality crap so it’s starting to lose it’s appeal, but it’s tough to beat the volume.
