Im working down at the shop called Imperial Auto Glass and Upostery On dundas near Dixie. Ive been there not even two weeks and im picking up extremily quickly. So far im very confident in wrapping panels in vinal…Ill offer my service as of now to wrapping the S13 center console armrest and the glovebox. Kick panels should be a breeze as well…Im sure their are other simple panels as well just post up what you’d like done…Ill update every so often as i pick up new skills.
Ive done seats but im not yet 110% confident enough to mess around with customers seats…id rather screw up my own…deal with the fusteration and do it again 2x better another day. You can pick up the colour and texture vinal you want wrapped if you want but it has to be linned with cotton…otherwise the vinal will lift off what ever surface over time. Im learning off a guy who was tought by a old irish man who did bentlys…If there was one mistake Mike made on a seat the irish man would cut it with a razor and make him do it 2-3 times till it was perfect…so you can bet my work is going to be damn good. Sorry i havnt bothered looking threw the diffrent textures of stuff they have there…I can do just about any colour inmaginable…Im sure most here would stick with a basic black vinal…I can put a red or blue french stitch around the edge to give it some flavour before i wrap it…Im going to stick with mild work for now until i build up my confidence then ill offer more stuff that i can do to you guys
yeah give us some estimates… glovebox i’d be very interested in since mine needs to get done and i was going to attempt it myself… also the door for the center console thing… maybe even that whole piece ? i dont know
Ill get some prices on the glove compartment box in plain black vinal and the center consol door. They will be able to help me price this kind of stuff for me as its also their materials ill be using.
