ROFFL Wheres Rubicant?

I would say Montana. He was short, had no scrambling ability and an average arm. Yet he got the job done. He made the Niners dynasty what it was. Without him, there wouldn’t have been a dynasty.

Not to say Bradshaw wasn’t as equally important to his team, but he had the Iron Curtain and Franco Harris to take some of the load off. Montana had Craig and Rathman who were a rushing threat. Just not as much as Harris. 49ers “D” was good, but not as good as Pitt.

Goddamn it Nick… If anyone were to post this thread, I was hoping it was you…

They are both good. Though, Montana is better.

if i had to chose i’d say montana

Montana vs Bradshaw?
Year TM | G | Comp Att PCT YD Y/A TD INT | Att Yards TD
Terry Bradshaw
TOTAL | 168 | 2025 3901 51.9 27989 7.2 212 210 | 444 2257 32
Joe Montana
TOTAL | 192 | 3409 5391 63.2 40551 7.5 273 139 | 457 1676 20

by pure numbers, it’s Joe Montana. only 24 more games, but about 1400 more completed passes, and 71 FEWER interceptions.

but then again, Bradshaw’s rushing team was incredible.

the real question: who is the better TV personality? lol THAT’S Bradshaw by far.

Kerry Collins

.

FTW

TODD COLLINS

after looking at those numbers posted up there, its damn impressive that montana threw for so many more completions yet still managed alot less ints!

oh and yes bradshaw had good running games, but i wouldn’t say sf ever really had a “bad” running game while montana was there, no?

MARINO… ftw… what about namath? manning will break alot of records if injuries done get him… brady too

BETWEEN THE 2 though… cuz i dont read AT ALL… montana…

ugh… i hate brady…

Roger Graig was a solid back for sure…Montana had Jerry Rice and John Taylor while Bradshaw had Lynn Swan and John Stallworth…WR are pretty equal but the difference was Brett Jones and Dwight Clark at TE for Montana

Lots of people do…but hes good…that fugger

oh BTW… Montana

Ryan Leaf.

not denyin that fact, altho at the same time i still think he’s also overrated lol

I watched a special on him on ESPN. They went through his entire career and how he was never given a solid shot at a starter. This was from like high school, college and the pros. He was barely a 4th string QB when he started in N.E., then hes superbowl MVP… It was nuts what he overcame to become what he is today. Which I think is really cool, but I still hate him. Respect him, but hate him

He sucks…I’d take Bledsoe with a solid o-line anyday over Brady…hell give me Flutie when he was under the age of 40 over Brady…lol!!!

tee heee… this thread.
