To all those who think a vet somehow isn’t a doctor, go to your nearest med school and ask how many students are there because they couldn’t get into vet school.
Veterinarian programs are super-competitive and I know more than a couple human doctors who chose the profession because they didn’t have the scores to get into a vet school.
My dog’s vet deals with wellness visits in the mornings and does deliveries, fertility treatments, eye, laser and laparoscopic surgeries in the afternoon - show me a GP that does that.
You can get a PhD in some pretty irrelevant shit and chiropractors are… iono… just chiropractors? also, i can’t see taking a veterenarian seriously in real life. The only one i ever knew was also an optimologist which is pretty serious. eyes matter, cats and skunks??? negative.
Old thread, but I came across these pics and immediately thought of that post.
Edit: attached pics. Remaining are down two post’s. Someday i’ll set up photobucket or something.
anyone that goes to school and gets their doctorite is a doctor imo, but there are different types of doctors , some deserving more respect for their name. when most people say doctor they think of the medical profession though
