Bumping this up, does rainbow remove old tint to? I’m trying to find a place that can remove the back window without me worrying that the rear defrost wont work anymore.
can you tint windows in the winter or doesnt it have to be 60 degrees or higher?
well it would have to be tinted indoors or in a shop. but we had cars tinted by dennis today in the shop came out great.
If i want him to tint windows can i just give your dealership a call anytime? I’m just trying to find time to get it done. Also trying to decide between 35% and 20%

If the car is “dark” go with 35%. If it is “light” then go with 35%…yes, I proofread that.
Tint on the car now is 20%, ill remove them and get them redone in 35%.
Just had rainbow do my grand marquis. Came out about 99 percent good. Couple bubbles in the back window, I smoothed them out with a squirt bottle and a credit card. Rear passenger window was cut a couple millimeters short, tough to see though unless you are really looking or critiquing the tint. Owner of the shop took some cash right off the quote for mentioning NYSPEED.
Otherwise a pretty good job. Felt like a DOUCHE driving home, I forgot to tip the tint dude. Throw 'em at least 5 or 10 bones guys…
FYI that is 50% all around, I would not go any darker in NYS.

I went to eclipse to get my other car retinted because I scratched it somehow and it came out really well, did a better job than custom had done, but again it cerise day to day since there’s so many guys over there I guess
