I already bought tickets, I hope its good.
did you get good seats ?
You cant pick the seats.
booo …even in Vancouver when I went twice at least you knew where you were seated …
In case anyone was wondering…
there is no assigned seating because they have not finished the grandstand lay-out, the track lay-out is not complete either. I assume that they will designate some sort of seating locations later.
They have not finalized the support races yet either. Hopefully, we will get a local support race like we did in Van. Right now everything is still up in the air. I hope we get it as i’m dying finish our new race car project.
NECC supporting event
hahahaha
would be fun tho
Let the public race on the goddamn track!
Hey coppers, you wanna stop street racing? GIVE US THIS OPTION!
Hell, convert the CC airport to a permanent road racing course. Then NO ONE would have an excuse to street race.
F*ck, is that a pipe dream, or what?
NECC drifting demonstration!
agreed …but the money has to come from somewhere to do that … and I dont know anyone who will put up half to a million to build a track and host it somewhere …
LOL… how many NECC members really know what they’re doin’ in that department?
Lots of people. The same people who got Indy to come here in the first place, plus numerous others. But there is something holding them back. I forgot what it was when I had the conversation.
I’ll be getting tickets. How much did you pay flav. $90 $155 or $220.
Well, if people around the area are bitching about the noise of an airplane or two taking off, imagine how thrilled they’d be to hear straight piped race cars zooming around there!
WE CAN’T LOSE! Seriously though, people suck. Imagine if we built a world-class race facility here…think of the revenues it could bring into the city, plus it’d be a viable alternative for people wanting to street race. Tracks in England regularily have track days where you can rung what ya brung as long as you have insurance, a helmet, and are the registered owner of the car.
To say nothing of Japan’s many racing circuits. But then again, we live in a culture (and next to one, specifically) that is scared of a breast on national television. I don’t think we’re quite ready for racing available to the general public.
Plus, main reason for not building the track, is that 8 months out of the year, it isn’t useable due to the weather, so it just wouldn’t justify the costs of building one. Many of the other places with tracks have great weather year round, with the exception of Mission and Calgary.
Bah, you could ice race on them in the winter! Wouldn’t that be the most awesome drifting practice ever?
i got my tickets on wed…
gold jerry!!!
How do you spell L,O,A,D,E,D?
J,A,M,I,E 8)
not really but i work verh hard for my money
i’mm going but i’m just gonna get a day pass. no seating but its worth its. i’ve been to vancouver and silverstone and seats are nice but the day passes where u have no seating is fine. just get to walk around and watch from any angle you want
