woz and myself…
So this was about 10 miles of downhill twisties done just by coasting to conserve fuel and hitting speeds around 60mph as we left Sequoia park…
and this was yesterdays project.
new front speedmaster. new rear shinko. new brake pads.
Working on shitty Harleys in what appears to be an expensive Apartment buildings lot. Love it.

if you still need a trans for that 450, I’m breaking that 500 motor…I’ll send you the trans for like $40 shipped man.
You shut your mouth mister! It’s been fully restored and is staying stock, I repeat, it’s staying stock.
I sincerely hope it never leaks a drop of oil…or you might light it on fire.
havent fired it up in like 6 months but after 10 min of kicking we picked up right where we left off…
YES YES YES> TAKE A LOOK AND LET ME KNOW> I’ll take it.
10min of kicking. lol i don’t miss that.
I’ve been super busy with the new job and with getting my girlfriend and I settled into our new place, but here’s a shot from 2 weekends ago on some canyon roads in socal. Note the sexy CL side pipes I picked up after my lowcut pipe cracked at the header.
Also, I purchased this moto3 a while ago in Buffalo for about what a case of cheap beer would run, but the inside was rotten. There is a place called Primo Helmet Design out here that re-lines old lids. Rene did an amazing job with this and it looks and fits great now.
those CL pipes look great.
was that pic taken at ortega highway?
It’s actually a windy side road off of East Santiago Canyon Rd. near Cooks Corner.
I havent followed this bike (I must say it looks great) but wheres the brake and clutch cables on the bars?
I would like to snag a vintage bike soon while it’s still winter and they’re dirt cheap.

I bought a 75 kawasaki f7 175 for $300, ran well. no title so I got a good frame from ebay for $100, got dot tires for it, rebuilt the forks, messed with the bulbs (6v sucks). Ran all last winter, ate a piston in april. I just got it rebuilt for $200 (parts and $75 to bore the cylinder .020 over).
I’d say go for it, try $700. Don’t plan on riding it on any road with a 55+ speed limit. works great around town. If it doesn’t have a title you will have to buy a '72 and older frame. Then, with a bill of sale from the older frame, you’ll be able to get it registered. newer than that and you are sol
