took it up and down the street a few more times, it now starts on the first kick. Power feels what I expect for a 40 year old ‘small’ bike. Got back in and the left exhaust is cool to the touch. Tried a spare plug and it was sparking so I threw it in.
Sure is a lot faster running on both cylinders.
edit: the clutch feels kinda notchy. I think the cable is going. gotta pull that cover and have a look see
If anyone is interested, my entire project bike is for sale. I had a buyer coming to get it but they flaked. It’s all apart, some assembly required. If it’s not gone by the end of October it goes outside in a box to rust.
the clutch adjustment on the cb360’s is extremely temperamental. takes quite a bit of fiddling to get it just-right. Did you luck out with the 6spd engine or the earlier 5spd variant?
Decided to add some flair today. The clutch was slipping so new plates and an oil change were in order. I ordered some gnar “winter” tires, hopefully they will be here soon
since vintage bikes always need worked on, thought this was worth tossing in here…I have this same lift as does @GV1390 and we are both super happy with it given the price. We are both cheap chooches and bought it when it was last on sale for this same price… $299, can’t beat it for a table lift really
