True… but now that he has a good alternator in there it shouldn’t really be necessary. He’s not planning to put a big system in that he’ll run w/ the car off or anything so he shouldn’t really ever fully discharge the battery. The red top would really be extra $ he doesn’t need to spend. :hsdance:

you gotta watch because sometimes the cars ecu will regulate voltage on the alternator, i know my car does that it’s ecu regulated…kinda sux when trying to diagnose if it’s an alt prob or if the ecu shit

and i dunno about the XP CD. They probably lost it somewhere. WE send out mail all the time that is undeliverable from the hotel and its always back within a week. Thanks for trying though! :hs:
the alternator was not in the car when they tested it.
it was kinda a heads up not a “this is why your alternator is bad” kinda thing…information i was just throwin out
