I notice this all the time in the city. I can’t figure out why people do it.
Is it like a power trip thing?
Obviously these people probably don’t have a car, and probably have a shitty life, so is this their way of exercising control of OTHER people?
I swear every day i drive down Bailey to get on the 33 and I have to wait for traffic to clear in the oncoming lane so i can drive around a person who’s walking in the middle of my lane. Not crossing, walking down the street.
This used to happen on Grant all the time too. I can see maybe doing this if you are walking down a really dark street and you’re worried about getting mugged in the shadows, but it happens more during the day, and even at night, bailey is probably brighter on the sidewalk than in the street.
Is it because they just want to be seen? I guess walking in the street allows me to see their new 150 dollar sneakers and their looney-tunes racing jacket.
lol, im talking about some sorta large soft air matrice or something strapped to the front of a car. This way you can hit a person at around 5-10 mph. and not realy hurt any else but there street pride while they spring forward onto there ass.lol
what is really fucked up is one night roughly 10pm when a lady friend came over she was too afraid because a group of, what appears to be jobless, individuals was slowly walking down the middle of the street.
as they would walk down the street they would stop and encircle a car and look into the windows. then continue to walk down the middle of the street to the next car.
I wonder what they were looking for.
Poorly plowed… fuck you they do it in the summer too.
people do it around my neighborhood too, usually kid though that think they are tough… not really sure why they think they are tough blocking a car as if the car could not crunch them though.
