Aside from these cars being RWD, mildly aesthetically pleasing to look at ( some models more than others), and have a moderatly decent powerplant “available” for swapping. These cars are junk crap poop and time bombs of rust.
We can all thank our good friends in France (renault) who bought Nissan in the mid 80’s for all of our problems. Rcycled low grade steel, LAMINATED 3 layer mild steel frames… these are cheap junky little sports-coupes.
I been there and seen it all, I’ve chopped an s14 into quarters with a saw in under 2 hours…

do a 5spd swap and you’ll get what your asking price or sell it dirt cheap where people think they will save by geting auto and doing a 5spd swap.
i bought many s14 and bought an auto s14 from original owner and dealer maintained for around 5k and i was very iffy in buying it but it was black and very good history and amazing condition. that guy i bought the car from didnt have no other intrest but me and since im in love with the s14 i bought it asap.
your car is worth what someone is willing to pay. in my opinion i wouldnt pay 6k let alone 5k on an auto s14 agian unless i have big plans like what i have for this one i have.
from what i heard the car has 6 previous owners (thats pretty whored around) has a dent on driver side fender and front bumper.

Actually, take a gander at alot of mid 80’s cars before you single out Nissan/Renault as the devil. They all rusted, they were all trash. Everyone was out to save money through new technology not fully understood or developed.
They’re certainly better cars, then a mid 80’s emissions friendly firebird…

How much of that depreciation is due to 240-aholics who bought S13s, did a bunch of shit to them, then sold them to the next generation of biters coming up for seriously inflated prices. The same guys that cried about how much F&F3 was going to ruin the 240, they sure were fast to include it in the ad "Just like in F&F3! Your SRed S13 is somehow just like an S15? Sure.
All so they could afford S14s, because they somehow thought they would be without all the downsides to the S13.
Now you have a bunch of broke guys, some who payed nearly 20Gs for these “pristine sports cars”. A lot more S14s are staying stock than S13s. And surprise surprise, 3 years later, rusted ass S14s are starting to turn up.
Not all japanese cars from the 80s rot like 240s. Scribs can say that because he spends a good deal of time underneath older Nissans that are in much, much better shape than all the rusted out S13s that come through.
You should really drive an 80s Firebird before you make that comment. Yes, they suck pretty hard, but stock for stock, they’d waste a 240.
Plus you could build a really stout one for like what, $3,000?
No 240 is worth money to anyone unless they have a serious hard on for the car. The dumbasses that value these cars high, are the same ones that scream and run around in little circles if they see surface rust, and will poo-poo an automatic, even though they don’t have a clue what to do with a 5 speed in the first place. Just because you can keep a car from stalling out when you get moving does NOT mean you’re a good driver.
So either keep the price high and wait for the one sucker looking to be parted with his money, or you can keep getting henpecked by a bunch of broke asses until you eventually sell the car for dirt cheap. If you’re really lucky, you’ll part the car out on advise from people here, sell just enough parts to make the car completely worthless and be stuck with it.
Why exactly do you think your car is worth $6,000? Have you driven it? How much is a slow, understeery, swaybarless fat-chick of a car worth to you? What quality is it that makes you think the car is worth nearly 10Gs? Because it’s a 240?

people keep telling me to post pics, i HAVE THE DAMN PICS just ask for them.
and another thing my car has no dents its a paint scrape on the passenger door and my front bumper has no dents look closer.
and yes if i dont get this sold for at least 5600 - 6000 then i will take it to the grave with me

and one more thing…what the hell is the big deal about a manual car? cot dam at least you dont see me stalling and stressing out everytime you gotta stop at a light or make a u turn.,…i think auto is the best way to go, who gives a shit about how fast a manual car is, or what you can do with it, or how its more “fun” to drive - f*ck the car gets you to point A to B with heads still turning.

Oh, I love my 1991 240sx coupe, it’s so fast and handles so well in stock trim. I can’e beleive those porshe guys don’t know what their missing.

What is wrong with you? the car is a 2door why would anyone want a auto 2 door? Why do you own a 240 then and not a 1975 dodge pos? That gets you from point A to B. Your car is just not worth what you want for it. Thats that
