why?

Okay I don’t drive like an ass really much But sometimes I like to Punch the Peddle on the car.

Now heres what I want to know for Safety reasons. I can be doing 35-40MPH Easy on any given highway And at times I’m a dickhead and Floor it. Well when this happens the Rear end starts to shift to the right “Obviously cause the tires are spinning”. But How would I go about keeping the rear end to stay straight? Does this tell sign’s or repair needed or something?, Because come summer, I’m thinking of taking my car to lancaster speedway a few times and try to have some fun for once.

“And yes “Flamerz” I know, Don’t do it and it would solve all my problems!”

Throttle modulation? Bigger tires? Buy a transmarobird and go wheels up?

Mine stays straight on the ol wagon…since its a open diff. (one wheel peel)

Maybe like for a lauch at the track…maybe putting a air bag in the rear right and stiffening that side up it wont go over there.

Well start simple with tire pressue. A free fix could save you some trouble.

I have the Good year Ultra Grips, Not sure of the sizes. “But they are Snow tires”

Looking for newer ones now though

Don’t you hate it when the back of your car tries to pass the front of your car? It’s even more fun on a motorcycle.

I wouldn’t even worry about it until you get summer tires on. Snows can create and exaggerate all sorts of traction issues.

lol, my car does the same when I’m screwin around in the snow in a straight line. (I can’t break lose goin 20-30 on dry pavement  )My tires are dandy. I thought it had somethign to do with an open diff- both broke traction but the driver side wheel is still spinning faster. Then again I have no idea what I’m talking about.

I assume a car normally steps out to one side because of the direction of engine rotation. Which way it torques…

right hand rule

you sound like a retard.

Additional information: “race weight: 175 LBS.” …?

Well BOTH passenger side wheels have ZERO tread left on them. I know I need a Tierod and they are goodyear Ultragrip tires, But MAN-O-MAN. Either I have just Dum luck or something really is going on here

Is this a Celica?

If so, is it the front pulling a direction, or is the rear actually going out?

This was happening WAY Before the tires and tierod went!:headbang:

Punch it while you’re turning left a few times to even it out! :eekdance:

:bloated:

Or do you mean that it’s wearing unevenly?

On most streets, the car will always slide to the right if both front or back tires are spinning, due to the crown of the road to help water runoff (middle of the road being higher).
