I was at the Junkyard the other day and i happened to look under a mustang it was a 3.8 for sure the tranny looked like a T5 it had the same style shifter bellhousing looked like it would fit a 5.0 also it looked the same in every way except it looked more beffy I was woundering if anyone knew if it would fit a 5.0 thanks
I dont really know about the 6 bangers. The 2.3L T5 will bolt up.
a T-5 from other than a V8 car is extremely weak. I wouldn’t trust anything other than a V8 T-5.
90-93 5.0L T-5 ( non cobra ) are rated @ 300lb-ft
Previous years are 265lb-ft

I can get it for 85 bucks it has 32,000 miles on it so i am sure i can get rid of it if it doesnt work
