haha…anyways, OP, Ahmed has some good points and I’m not arguing against it.
The only problem is that the OP is just asking a question and doesn’t tell us:
What his budget is
What he will be mainly using his car for. (Street? Track? Show?)
It’s like me asking you guys if I should buy a Mini Cooper or a Smart Car…but what you don’t know is that I have a family and 5 kids. And I plan on using the car for buying groceries only. You see where I’m getting at?
So obviously, it would be stupid to buy either car.
lol this thread is jokes, i miss the taurus brakes jokes. I feel like marking my car “Taurus brakes racing special limited turbo edition”. Meh I guess it got old.
We’re now just beating a dead horse. Everyone said enough, now it’s the guys’ choice, what he wants or ‘needs’.
I know very well how I was criticized often for being told that i like to tell everyone what to get on a car… when in reality EVERYBODY is VERY VERY critical on this site all together in reference to these kinds of questions. Everyone pushes you to get something. Like in this case. It’s just stupid to argue against willwood brakes. Yes they are better. If someone can afford them, why not, be happy for them and not in their face about it. If you can’t or don’t ‘need’ them who cares! Share in the wealth of information and enjoy seeing others’ cars, be enthusiastic not an asshat on an internet forum.
At the end of the day like I said its more about wants than necessarily needs. None of us need sports cars. We can give as many analogies as we want. If we are to speak about true needs and a real racing series or something… then people would have restrictions, TONS of pros and cons to outweigh, budgets, etc… It’s not even that.
Give people some space. Bottom line is, yes these brakes are better, if they weren’t there’d be no need for willwood to produce them and everybody would be running stock brakes forever.
Meh, we’re just beating a dead horse. It’s old. Live and let live. Who can convince who to get what…
Whether you enjoy your car on the street or on the track or both, love your car and don’t be too over critical of others’ cars. We’re suppose to be enjoying our cars and not dicks to one another.
WTF would you buy? If you pick the cheaper one even though you could easily afford either, you’re just cheap.
If I had enough money for either, my options are:
Good
or
Better
I would probably pick better.
Jesus, it’s not rocket science.
Plus, MSN and the Internet run WAY FUCKING BETTER on a $3000 computer. Everything does. Including boot up time, consecutive downloads, forum browsing, MSN file transfers and opening, streaming, rendering HD, eveything.
Wilwoods are far lighter and just work better. Why is this even a question? Honestly.
If cost is a factor, then it can be a question. Nowhere is cost mentioned by the OP.
