windows vista

Burn DVD’s.

my vista laptop can go months before a reboot is necessary, xp was once a day if not more. Vista runs faster than xp. I like the look better and where things are placed, but that’s user preference.

vista is not a huge step forward from XP, but it is an upgrade. If you like XP and don’t want to change, don’t get vista.

All of the complaints I see about vista are the same things I heard when people had to move to XP. You will get used to it and eventually like it just as much as xp.

It handles processes better, it eliminated the docking function, I never have an issue putting the computer in sleep mode then waking it.

:stupid:

so far so good

I didn’t like it for about the first 3 hours I used it. Then I found the small differences between the two (XP, Vista) and its been smooth sailing since. The only small gripe I have is that our large format color copier at work does not have Vista drivers and the XP drivers just won’t work. But that’s Ricoh’s fault.
