Winged Warrior Hotels - Pick one! From $99 / Night

Alright well after looking over a lot of different hotel options, we’ve decided to stay downtown in the city.

After going over the options again, it looks like the Hyatt is going to be the place to stay. I’ll leave the poll and other options here if anyone else really wants to stay somewhere else. But the Hyatt’s price is good, the parking situation is the best and it’s got more rooms than the others.

There are 3 options available to people - all with different price ranges - that are on 3 corners of an intersection close to the city center. This intersection has some crazy dome thing right over the top of it that looks like this:

Since all 3 hotels connect at this center point, it makes for the perfect landmark / meeting place for everyone no matter which hotel option you choose. (See Google Earth image below for another view of the dome)

Now these prices below go down considerably once you start splitting the cost between 2 or 4 people - so check with your friends and see what they want to do.

All of these hotels are 26 minutes from the raceway where the event will be held.

OMFG I DID IT AGAIN SEAN…

edit because the Hyatt lied to us, lol

Definitely Hyatt.

Josh, did you book a room yet? Does it have a chair in the corner? :snky:

Kidding… I swear!

hyatt for the cheap, are we staying sat night as well and driving home sunday?

Dude, seriously there are 3 witnesses here who will testify that when this picture came up:

http://www.indianapolis.hyatt.com/hyatt/images/hotels/indri/rooms_main_7.jpg

The first thing out of my mouth was “look, it’s a MPD47 chair / bed!” lol

And no, I didn’t book a room yet.

We’re staying Friday and Saturday nights.

That is a MPD47 chair…

ok thanks

Is there any cheaper option? And is there added charges for more people in one room, or do we get to split $99 among 4 people? I know 100% I could not swing $99 a night myself.

lol, ive been patrolling this forum just waiting for you to screw it up continuously :stuck_out_tongue:

Hotels outside the city are about $80 a night, unless you want to stay somewhere really low end. That makes the Hyatt at $99 look the an amazing deal.

Find room mates. There are always added charges for more people, so you just don’t tell the hotel. You can split a regular room 4 ways if you’re really on a budget and it will cost you $50 for the weekend at the Hyatt.

The other hotels downtown don’t seem to be as close to everything as the Hyatt, and don’t have self parking in their own secure garage.

The more I compare, it looks like Hyatt FTW.

Hotel Booked @ hyatt regency Capitol view king suite, came to 134 a nite for the flexible rate

booked 2 bed room at Embassy Suites…after comparing all the prices this one works out the best, as it also has a fold out bed in the other room so its really 3 beds, fyi

Yeah the person at the desk at the Hyatt had a different price for the suite this morning :bloated:

Real question, does it have an MPD47 chair.

I’m going to milk that saying all summer.

Valet only. Valet is in a private secure garage below the building.

not that I would want my car parked for me but I can set the car to shut down if the RPM’s exced a certain amount. engauge revlimiter at 4K disingauge at 0rpm.

justin if you want to split a room i could work that price.

Two things I didn’t really notice before:

  • That building with the pink and blue paint on top is a mall (with a food court for those who want to watch their $$) and is connected to the walkway / dome that merges all the hotels

  • The white building on the upper-left corner of the picture is the Capitol building… Newman?
