Wasting no time getting back into the game. Whats the plan, turbo?
Great stuff!
Thanks guys. Yes, another turbo, but probably stepping up my game a bit. The power stuff won’t be this year though. As it is, I’m starting to feel sick about what I’m spending on this. I need to buy a truck, house mods, and have several other things that I want to be able to spend money on… so I need to slow my roll haha.
Austin@stm put some work in today on the X. Gas mileage should go up significantly with all this weight gone now haha
Stepping up from last time?? Didn’t your old car run a 4.xx pass in the 1/8th?
Sounds like I’m going to need to turn mine up some more… Shit lol
Those LSx kats always got something brewin’
Interested to see what the renegade will put down. Does it have any motor work at all or just clutch/exhaust/programer?
I have a few little tricks I can do to bump me another 7-10hp but its a pain to get it jetted right. I’m happy with the kit but it’s still running rich, need to meter each cylinder to get it perfect. Right now I have the wideband at the collector reading both at once.
Yeah… Just that. I’ll probably just see turbociv so I’m not sure what numbers will be seeing its a car dyno. I’m more concerned with tune

spent almost 14hrs at the shop saturday with Checko and Pirite, we whipped up some rear-sets, headlight ears, and a slick 3-1 exhaust for the xs750 we’re building.
testing out the knurling tool on my lathe:
(yes, I’m getting more and more pissed with the camera on my phone…very glitchy and can’t tell the pics are blurry until after they’re on a computer)
tried my hand at building a 3-1 collector from scratch, had luke clean it up with various grinders to make it look nicer (this wasn’t finished)
Finished exhaust:
and a video of it mounted on my other XS750 that’s complete so we could hear how it sounds. SUPER happy with the sound and overall appearance…some cleaning up and possible ceramic coating and the exhaust is done!
With solid clutching i’d bet it be mid 60whp. 1000’s clutch/piped/tuned are getting low 70’s
I ran 5.7, the new owner turned it up and ran a 5.2x and with a 94mm and proline engine ran a best of 4.9. He’s since bought a faster toy so the old Camaro is currently parked in the stable. He finally found the limits of the eBay intercooler that “sucks” at 4.9, weak!
welcome back, we missed you
and also just ordered this today, Status Gruppe Tuning csl double carbon trunk
thats pretty much it for the ///m until the stacks come in
That pipe will clear the hood closing on top of that support like that?
Looking at the last pic, looks like the hood has an indent where it closes over the pipe
Yes sir. Every Evo X is set up like that from the factory.
