Who else has the winter time blues, because the summer toys are going away, its going to be cold enough to freeze an eskimos balls, and pretty soon we get to deal with those idiots who cant drive during 3 rain drops for the next 6 months?

I like the light snows like 1 -2’’ it turns every single corner into a drift paradise. Tho with the jeep this winter Im looking forward to some 77 style blizzards.

however an insulated jacket and remote car starter make winter pretty bearable
YEs, remote start is a must for me this winter. The summer car dosent have heat, and the last few frosts have made my decission for me, remote start on the jeep it is.
word, there’s a few things that make winter 1000x more bearable:
great wipers
great winter tires
remote start
warm socks
super warm jacket
without these it’s hard to find a reason to not sleep in
THIS, and a spare pair of socks in the vehicle, so when you get snow down your boots, you have the option to change instead of letting them dry.
lol my summer car’s heater core was leaking so it’s just capped. i started ruing this the past couple weeks, but I just moved to virginia so it’s a bit more bearable. heated seats held me down
After driving carbed cars for the last 7 winters, and manual trans beaters before that, I FINALLY have a vehicle with a remote starter! 4X4 to boot. Unfortunately the previous owner lost the remotes so I have to find one and get it programmed:fu:
Down jacket, heated seats, remote start, garage, brand new snows, awd and an engine block heater for me.
I’m just miserable due to some other personal shit going on… Got nothing to do with winter… I’ve been looking forward to winter for months…

Thinking about buying a snowmobile. Snow tires for the car and all terrains for the truck plus a garage that fits both get me through.
I still find myself looking forward to winter less and less. This year probably because we never really got a summer.
I actually enjoy some of the brisk winter days without the wind and the sun out. Other than that, I hibernate.

The 190 is a mess anytime it rains just like this morning. The first days of snow is just frustrating as hell how people don’t remember how to drive in it.
Looking forward to snowboarding this year to pass the winter months. The more is snows, the more I am debating moving out of NY and somewhere warm.

I wouldnt mind a sled this winter. My father is the same way, hates the cold weather. I dont so much mind it, mainly because the house in sanborn has so much grown in land that I dealt with enough yellow jackets this year, to make me consider northern alaska.
I don’t mind winter until January comes around, then I’m just sick of it.
i dont get winter time blues. i race snowmobile grass drags all fall around the state and then when the snow flies i ride snowmobiles. when im not doing that im in the garage turning wrenches on the truck. just gotta find something to keep occupied.
