i had all 4 out about 5 years ago, i went to an oral surgeon and got put out. i would suggest the same, its not something you want to experence. i woke up halfway through, and they were pulling one, i could hear it but not really feel it. it was rather disturbing
i woke up too Jam, started mumbling, doctor pulled something out of my mouth that was wedging it open when he was grinding and asked if i wanted more drugs, mumbled again, felt something cold in my arm from the IV and out again. i couldn’t see, couldn’t move, wild ride. make sure you get your ass knocked out good, and make sure you trust the fool cutting on you.
hahah thats pretty much what happened to me too, except for the doctor just looked at me when i was mumbling, said o shit! and turned a knob or something. i went right back out
also, afterwards (once you stop bleeding, usually about 3 days after the surgery) make sure to rinse with a 50/50 solution of listerene and water after smoking, eating, or drinking anything. no dry sockets plz
I had all 4 removed with just Novocaine by an oral surgeon. 2 were impacted, and one had too many roots and was wrapped around the nerves. lots of cutting and blood on the last one.
It didn’t seem like much worse than a deep filling to me. Just more noise and pulling.
I had 2 impacted and only had the novacaine. It was odd hearing them just crack your tooth open and rip the pieces out while swallowing a little of your own blood. If you are disgusted by this, then just get knocked out.

Extraction went well… got novacaine and lidocaine (spelling) only. Top wisdom tooth was removed with ease. The lower one was cut and I could hear the crunching noise. Didn’t feel a thing though. Now I got a mouth full of blood and a bottle full of vicodin!!
Had the top 2 out with being numb. Took 20 min since the were half grown out. It was just like pulling regular teeth with extra precautions obviously. My dentist is the shit. Dr Lynch at Western New York Dental on South Park in Hamburg.

I’ve had 3 of 4 taken out. they were all “full grown”. I was not put under because I have asthma and there is a risk of death. They just gave me Novocaine and I was fine, actually the 3rd one that was taken out which was like a year after the first 2 was difficult to take out and I was bleeding profusely and was put on oxygen because I was about to pass out. I went to my regular dentist, not an oral surgeon btw.
Just a word of advice, if you smoke quit for a few days because you can get dry socket and according to some people I know it’s worse than giving birth naturally…lol…I don’t smoke so I wouldn’t know but just putting that out there.
