Women and cars...

Is this guy a member here? lol

please?

I love having a gf that is semi knowledgeable about cars.

and by that I mean smart enough to call me when something breaks…

Name?!

lulz.

i was driving with a friend when she couldn’t get her brights to switch on, she panics and calls her boyfriend who diagnoses all sorts of BS over the phone.

i suggested she turn her lights on and maybe to try it again. :banghead:

as soon as i started reading this, i knew exactly what she did.

wow rofl. fucking epic.

He was probably trying to kill you lol.

I love when people don’t put their car’s in park and wonder why it won’t start.

Yes, he is a member here. And I wouldn’t be surprised if he was trying to kill me. He kept saying suspicious things like “When you die, I’m going to turn your Boxster into a spec car.”

LOL, I know who it is now

I FUCKING LOVE IT

Bump, this seemed appropriate here:

Lady leaned out of her car to input the code for a carwash, then for some reason OPENED HER TRUNK. Then she drove into the carwash with me honking at her to tell her that her trunk was open." Right.

Great bump. Where’s the video of the chick that couldn’t open her fuel cap? That needs to be in here as well

I got a call from a friend, frantic because she got a “free NYS inspection” coupon in the mail for Hamburg Garage (I think that’s the name, the one on Camp rd). They told her she needed pads and rotors, $300+, for her 33K mile car because they were “metal on metal”, and she failed the inspection. I asked her if she heard any grinding noises while braking, or if the car wasn’t stopping as good as it used to. She said yes to both. I looked it over and drove it- car stopped on a dime, front brakes were fine, rear pads were getting there, but still inspectable/safe. Apparently grinding was referring to the occasional brake squeal that the car had since new, and the car wasn’t stopping as good lately because the roads were icy.:picard: Really?? I then had to teach her about WHY shops like this offer free inspections.

I got one of those coupons from there and they passed my car. I also stood there watching them the entire time and talked to the tech about cars. I assumed that was the scam though.

My sister drove her Honda so long with a clunk that the ball joints and tie rods failed and her wheel fell off.

looks like the trunk thing took care of itself

Good thing that lady in the car wash was only driving a POS:ham:

when i worked at bert’s selling motorcycles i had a guy tell me that the yellow button on the handlebar on his bike was factory nitrous oxide, and he uses it to pass cars on the interstate. He was referring to the button that says “pass” but all it does is flicker the headlight (turn high beam on) to allow you to let someone know if you want to “pass” them.

I was like wtf? serious? as hard as it was i didn’t laugh at how he responded when i asked him how he goes about refilling the “factory Nitrous” and it went somewhere along the lines of an air to nitrous converter on the bike.

tell him he’s low on nitrous and charge him for a refill.

Well figured this would be a good thread to place this on.

Pictures to come.

I was at Tim Hortons on Main St. and Sheridan. While walking in, I found that a Sheriff was parked funny, no lights on noone in the car… so I though maybe their was no parking left so being a Sheriff he would just park anywhere (noone will give him a ticket)

When I came out and got in the car, I noticed another Sheriff double parked no lights on. So got in the car and started to head out my normal way (that direction) and just as I’m able to see around the building, 2 cars sitting side by side in the drive through. One in the normal driveway, the other car half on the grass/up on the curb. lol Guy in the car in front apparently got rearended by the lady in her car. My guess just like everyone elses, she hit the gas and not the brake… Went into the back right corner of the bumper and up onto the curb/grass.

As I started on my way back to work, I was passed by a 2 fire trucks, 2 suv style emergancy response vehicles… and an Ambulance.

Nothing like a female going to Tim Hortons and rearending someone in the drive threw. I know I’ve seen pictures on google with this. But I will post them hopefully later today.
