work snack attacks

Some of that stuff is right on. I like the eating style you kept with. I was doing the same thing when I was really strict on the program. I don’t know that I agree with that comment that was said about pop clears your mouth of other flavors… it leaves a nasty taste for me, thus why I don’t drink it anymore.

There was a lot said about water, and I am glad someone actually said it helps you lose wait, because you aren’t retaining water if you are hydrating yourself enough.

Thanks for pointing that thread out!

you should work doing what I do, Diet goes out the window, especially when you are working a 16 hours shift, there is no such thing as 15 min breaks, no 30 min lunches, You eat when you can and choke it down as fast as you can. If its summer time and busy they might as well hook up an IV.

What to hear a kicker… Days I work 75% of the time I eat one meal a day and that is my biggest problem. My body goes into shutdown storage mode. When I do 12’s and 8’s its not too bad I get to eat two meals. I even kill fruits and veggie like they are going out of style.

One thing that did help out I tried late last summer was cutting out a lot of carbs. My job doesn;t require me to be physically anymore but its very high strees, long hours and usaully non stop. SO with doing that and being out all the time last august-september I dropped 23 lbs. I gained 15 lbs back due to it being winter and picking up a shit load of OT which causes me to do nothing but come home and crash…

Oh yeah we are open 24 hours a day so some times those 16’s are 3pm till 7am and you are on a 4 week rotation the includes daylight and night turn shifts…

yeah… i work at least 9 hours a day… never ever eat breakfast and never take lunch until 2pm… then i don’t eat all night…

i bet that’s ‘bad’ for me somehow… but everything is… i drink water all day as well… sometimes coffee, but no sugar…

i don’t really care enough to diet hardcore… too busy working on work and on a car. not about to jog after 9 hours of work before 4 hours in a garage… i jog on weekends just so i’m not a lump of shit all the time…

i give respect to people that work out all hardcore… but i also sometimes don’t understand them… like real hardcore people… f that.

Inadequacy problems? :dunno:

dunno… ultra ego / mental issues?

240 syndrome :dunno:

I work full time, goto school at night 14 credits at CCAC, and goto the gym 4 days a week. If you care enough about looking better, you just make the time. I let myself go and after I saw a few pictures of me without my shirt on, I almost :puke: so I decided to do something about it. I only work out for 1-1.5 hours/day and it made a big difference in only a few months since I started going. my goal by june is to bench 250 lbs. and look a whole lot better than i do now. i maxed out on bench on Monday and got 195 up, so I don’t have too far to go.

the words on the tip of everyones tongue

:bigok:

exactly!!! There are small things you can do to change eating habits. That doesn’t take too much time at all…

x2

my wife was exercising every other day for a while and not seeing any improvement, then she changer her diet and in the next few weeks, 20lbs. was lost. you can’t half ass a diet plan, you need to eat right and do physical exercise. All of these lazy people want a pill that they can take and sit on the couch and lose 20 lbs, it just ain’t gonna happen.

ya…um i still like snacks…all you dieters send your snacks to me.

Just because I eat healthy doesn’t mean I don’t snack
