Meh power doesn’t really matter that much. Its power/weight + gearing. My s2000 could run 8.9’s with a sub 2sec 60ft and beat a tuned srt4 from a roll. 220HP w/ ~3000lbs weight & 4.10 gears pwnz all
However for the price of a new si I would not buy one. you can get a new Wrx for the same price, or close . I don’t think they are worth it, but they are def not an under performing car for their class
I can’t agree with this one. Sure it’s not a drag racing car, but of all the cars in the same class it was the least expensive with the best suspension and had limited slip which the others didn’t even offer.
I had a lot of fun lapping my brothers stock Spec-V around Dunnville.
This was powered by GM’s very own tractor sourced “Iron Duke” pushrod four cylinder.
At least the TBI and TPI Camaros made some torque and V8 noises. This was one of GMs least inspiring engines ever made in a stripped down 3rd gen body. Woof.
from what I’ve looked up, the turboed veloster is actually a pretty decent handling car and a pretty peppy car for the price. Not amazing, but still not bad.
Just because a car comes with a manual transmission does not mean that it is supposed to be a sports car. It’s a 4cyl Hybrid from Honda. I don’t think many people are buying it and expecting it to be a sports car.
