Worst "performance" cars

Meh power doesn’t really matter that much. Its power/weight + gearing. My s2000 could run 8.9’s with a sub 2sec 60ft and beat a tuned srt4 from a roll. 220HP w/ ~3000lbs weight & 4.10 gears pwnz all

However for the price of a new si I would not buy one. you can get a new Wrx for the same price, or close . I don’t think they are worth it, but they are def not an under performing car for their class

yes, this past year. although people are making 260-280 wheel hp NA from the 2.4 tsx motors with just headwork k pro and a few other bolt ons

100 hp/L, 6 speed with an oem LSD, and its on the lowest rung of cars the company makes…

^ Yeah, that version of the Cougar is really high on the list.

I can’t agree with this one. Sure it’s not a drag racing car, but of all the cars in the same class it was the least expensive with the best suspension and had limited slip which the others didn’t even offer.

I had a lot of fun lapping my brothers stock Spec-V around Dunnville.

I agree Josh, these cars were fun to drive, and they had an immense amount of torque, for what they were…

Lol turned into what about the siqqqq mods .

IMO- a V8 that only has 180hp and an automatic transmission needs to be at the top of the list.

1980 Corvette 305 California

Really?

Because both of those cars have SCCA national championships to their name, so I guess they must completely suck, right?

Also true, re. the Celica GT-S and RX8…

My SRT4 was crap. Something blew up every time I stepped on the gas.

I give you the Camaro “Sport Coupe”

http://www.imcdb.org/i053742.jpg

This was powered by GM’s very own tractor sourced “Iron Duke” pushrod four cylinder.

At least the TBI and TPI Camaros made some torque and V8 noises. This was one of GMs least inspiring engines ever made in a stripped down 3rd gen body. Woof.

the honda CRZ, i mean do they really need a 6 speed for a 130hp car?

Done

from what I’ve looked up, the turboed veloster is actually a pretty decent handling car and a pretty peppy car for the price. Not amazing, but still not bad.

Plymouth Prowler

:ham:

that car is about sporty looks but keeping fuel economy the priority.

obv a 6 speed trans is going to help the cause…

Just because a car comes with a manual transmission does not mean that it is supposed to be a sports car. It’s a 4cyl Hybrid from Honda. I don’t think many people are buying it and expecting it to be a sports car.

the less power you have, the more having more gear ratios matter IMHO
