full 3" piping is a little too big for a stock ka, 3" piping is usually used on turbo applications, 2.5 should be fine for a ka. and honestly it’s going to be soooo loud, you won’t be able to hear anything and will probably constantly get pulled over.
i also dont think you should waste money for a straight pipe system on a stock ka because it wont make much of a difference anyway, even with headers + intake. if you’re looking for more power, there are more efficient ways of doing it, if you’re just looking for a nice pipe for aesthetic reasons and a nice sound, i’d just get a catback system. there’s tons out there, megan, apexi, hks, blabla. just stay away from ebay systems because they’re really loud and rust fast
ahh ok got ya. you might find that 3" will be too loud on your NA engine. 2.25-2.5" would be more suitable. That way it won’t be stupid loud. No cat will always sound better but whatever your choice on that one.
If you plan on going turbo later on then go for the 3" right off the bat, no point buying an exhaust system twice…
3" on the ka has gains over 2.5 inch (top end) and depending on material (i.e aluminumized vs. GOOD stainless) is quieter not by much and depending on muffler choice. Anyway YOUTUBE it up see what you like cuz its your car and its your taste.
Its fucking loud. My buddy had a strait 3 inch to dual 1.5 inch. Its too loud.
spend that money on sr and put a y band on it lol lol

No and no.
I used to sound like a dump truck coming through with my N1 and gutted cat on my KA. Not even kidding. That truck motor sounds like one in every sense of the word when you gut the slut.

Ya lots of people turbo ka’s. do a compression test, make sure your motor is tip-top. Look into total cost first unless you have access to good inexpensive parts it can get costly (sometimes more then sr, (that is if your into that thing, I say no thank you but) Ive seen 500ish horsepower on stock internals(a miracle of god), and i’ve seen them blow at 220 at 7 psi, so its your call. Boosting is a touchy subject with ka s and some people (but opinions are like assholes, everybody has um;) so do your research. There is about a gazillion thread on ka24de-t vs. this, And build costs and so on. Any who, ya good luck.
