WTB: 180sx, 240sx, 300z, skyline or anything for DRIFTING

Z’s are to heavy for drifting. Drifting all about the chassis and suspension setup. Soild rear axle doesn’t allow for controllable suspension changes.

they make full interior muscle cars that are 2800lbs?huh?

people drift with supra’s… which are the same weight, give or take a few pounds. the information in this thread is full of suck :picard:

95% of people in this thread are suffering from varying degrees of mild retardation

what old school muscle car weighs 2800 lbs with full interior? and you don’t see z32’s drifting for a reason

False, sorta true, followed by false. Have you ever tried drifting a mid 90’s Fbod? They are FANTASTIC.

if you’re willing to go above your price range a bit and are looking for a car that is a bit too heavily modified for the street i would consider selling my coupe… other than a lack of a cage, bucket seat and a harness it’s better set up than most DMCC cars and alot of US non-pro drift cars…

your blue coupe bing? how mucho?

depends if we’re talking wheels in or wheels out.

wheels out would still be over the $7k usd mark though… i could part it out in 3 weeks for more than $8k usd in just a dozen or so of the high-dollar parts… not including the wheels.

i have a mod-list on my work laptop in the office i can update and communicate… might crash the nyspeed server though…lol…

*edit. if i sold the coupe i would have no use for my other SR (built bottom end, needs valve train refresh)… soooo

yea, without wheels, if u have the time can u pm me ur mods list whenever ur back at work? wit sum pics

NO SHIT. Wonder why I would’ve asked about them… hmm… my fairlady reference is probably in regard to the american’s being too heavy, yet the TS is including it in the title.

ahhh, sorry. didnt realize we were limiting it to old school, i missed that.

this thread was shot from the jump.

i just whipped this up quickly… could be short a few things though.

i have no idea on a specific price really… i know that i should sell it if i get a good offer and move on… but i REALLY want to race it this year.

i should probably qualify a few things about the car.

you can definately go on ebay or zilvia and find a SR swapped S13 for $5k - $6k, Jim did that last year. What you get is a stock SR with some basic bolt ons, coilovers and wheels… its worth the money.

The key things to focus on with my coupe are some of the more advanced and more expensive mods you are not going to find on a $6k S13.

The rest of it is pretty upper-middle range for an S13 but most $6k S13’s will have ebay/megan/k-sport suspension arms and coilovers… they also will not likely have the Z rear brake conversion with good running gear either… so even if you cancel out the stuff i listed above you’d still have a better car than a $6k runner from zilvia or ebay

You looking for a car thats all done or something to start a build?

i also have a 3OOz that you can take for 7k. I’ll even finish the swap for ya (i’m in the middle of a new motor install). I’ll list mods when i’m not posting from my phone

85 Supra, 5MGE, 5spd, brand new motor, car just needs to be finished.

As long as I get back whats in the motor its yours.

It doesn’t matter, If it’s already done I’ll take it, if not, I can build it up myself.

Actually 3rd gen F bods handle really well.

my camaro didnt :roflpicard: , maybe i was one of the unlucky ones

May have been the driver.
