WTB: 180sx, 240sx, 300z, skyline or anything for DRIFTING

:frowning: Compared to my integra, which would be comparable to a 240, there is no equalness to an fbod lol. 87 iroc ftw! they arent THAT shitty of handling cars, but compared to the cars he is looking at, they suck

bings car is a bargain for sure, he is 100% right about what you will not get on a 6k s13, you will also not get new paint, no rust, body panels not fucked up, derfinetly on stock turbo, ect.

I would buy bings car if I had the money

btw, bing, are you planning on parting this out possibly?

Bing’s car is HOT

doubtful, i’d rather break it. I could part it out for $11k+ but i’d rather sell for a bit less and avoid the headache… i dont have the time with a baby boy.

i’m really not looking to sell, but i also really want to stop paying interest my student loan and start fresh… if ya feel.

I have a 240sx coupe that I’ trying to get rid of. Pm me if interested?

I used to drift my iroc z camaro all the time. handled great. lol man i wish i was 16 again.

gotcha, lol.

well if you change your mind Im definetly in to buy a lot of your shit.

(I could obv give you stock parts + cash too if you just wanted to part out a few things to lower the price and get you an easier sale)

i’ll let you know, but i dont think i’d be up for it.

if the car doesnt sell i would track it and there isnt anything on the car i wouldnt need for the track… certainly wouldnt want to sell just to replace it again.

the op should think out side the box, and look at the non main stream cars, like old cresida’s, old corolla ae86 (1985 -87 were the magic years i believe, if you decide to google it), or a bmw to drift (there are many more cant thing of them off the top of my head). i know i own a 240 but its not all about what every one else has. be original. and to every one else you can drift with old muscle cars, and v-8s. there are several d1 drivers who drive heavy cars. i.e. the falken camaro, the new mopar sponcered dodge charger piloted by sam hubinette, the mopar sponcered viper, the falken sponcered mustang, and last but not least the gto once piloted by reece myllon. and again to all the import guys guess what old corolla’s are solid rear axle btw, now i know some people do independent rear suspsension swaps, but its not like every body does it. all you import guys need to stop being so close minded, and welcome every body. how do you expect drifting to ever become popular in western new york, if you go telling all these people they cant do, if they dont meant these specifications. (except fwd guys please dont try). and btw the way op before you go posting a fs thread about car, dont make your self look dumb by asking for a 180sx and a 240sx, considering only one made it state side, but if you were talking about a coupe and hatch specify. sry

Buy my supra.

buy my mustang 4k and has IRS

Didn’t he post in your FS thread?

yes I did

My 93 cobra weighs 2900(stock) maybe slightly more or less, combined with the soon to be “gobs of HP” this thing will do a whole lotta tire spinnin, after adding an IRS and cpl other mods=- wouldnt be a problem driftin.

a 93 mustang is NOT old school lol

well, half the “kids” here consider them old, my bad with the referral.

true, we are a bit older than all the newbies huh :frowning:

I cant afford anything in my generation of cars…

lol

mustangs suck for drifting. not enough steering angle out of the gate.

yeah, it’s not the weight in my opinion, I believe top gear has proved that heavy cars can drift just fine. The suspensions just aren’t great from the factory, although with aftermarket suspensions they can keep up with anything and they definitely need more steering angle.
