Didn’t read all the nonsense. Yeah, you can rent whatever you need. I’ve rented 100’ power augers with 2" wide heads for a plugged main line somewhere between my basement and the road. Yesterday I rented a 25’ powered hand snake for a kitchen sink drain that was plugged somewhere under the concrete in my basement.
The 25’ hand snake cost me $14 bucks, took about 20 minutes. Pop off the cleanout in the basement, shove the snake in until it stops shoving in, tighten the chuck, rrrrrrrrrr, snake moves freely, done.
Kenmore Rental on Hertel in Kenmore is where I rent stuff from. It’s a shit hole with equipment that probably survived WWII and an old guy running the place that probably knows how to do everything you could possibly do to a house. Low rates too.
I got access to one that i can come over and do it with. Its a small snake and will do the job. Ill pm you my number if you want it done.

LOL. I called the landlord and told him I was going to call a plumber. He told me that there has been a history of that happening, so he thinks it might be roots or something, so he’s taking care of it.
He’s a good guy.
