It is a long shot, but I am looking for a Rifle. 30-06 or larger caliber only. I really want a .300 win mag, but I think for what I need the 30-06 would be perfect. Prefer something with a scope on it. Please let me know what you have
what exactly do you need this for?
you don’t happen to still attend high school, or work at the post office do you?
he wants the 30-06 so he can vaporize some small animals and maybe some babies?
or shoot at lil girlies that work at toll boooths… ;x

7mm mag.scope.very high powered rifle.Interested?Like new
I want a 300 win mag. they are badass. 30-06 is awsome too. i want to get into long distance shooting. I’ll see if anyone I know is selling anything. what is the price range?
Now that I think about it, anything over a 30-06 would be overkill for me. I just need it to take down a bear, and maybe for whitetail if I choose to not use the 12ga. I was doing some reserch, and it seems like the 7mm and .300 are more for elk, and other large game. but May be interested if the price is right. 87 conquest, could you pm me a price on what you are looking to get for it. Thanks.
uhh yugo sks with folding stock 30 rnd detachable bayo granade launcher and scope also all original parts.
be a man, use a spear
guns are for pussies
30-06 should be perfect, very accurate. If your planning on using for bear though, I’d go at least 250grain and be ready to pop your shoulder back into place afterwards. Also make sure you’ve got yourself a nice sidearm.
just so you know. the size/weight/muzzle velocity of a 30-06 and a 308 win is almost identical. but the 308 win uses less powder and is less punishing on your shoulder. i have rifles of both calibers and i prefer the 308 win because its just as effective while being a tamer round. the US military replaced the 30-06 shortly after WWII with the 308 win for this reason and the fact its lighter and soldiers could carry more. you should definatly consider this caliber if you need the equivalent stopping power of a 30-06.
30-06 > 308, ask anyone that was in the army when they did that switch.
I am going to Camp Perry, OH on Wednesday. For those not “in the know”, the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) has their warehouse there, and members, like me, can purchase army surplus M1 Garands starting at $300. 30-06, 8 round mag, fun as hell to shoot, not as “punishing” as a bolt gun (if you are a girl, that is). Let me know if you want one.
go with either a .222 or .223
enough power to kill almost anything, high velocity, and acurate over long distances
^^he said he wants to hunt bear, you’ve better have a good life insurance policy if you go out with something of that caliber. Very fun to shoot though
oh snap read that after i read your post, i thought he was just gonna take out squirls and groundhogs (what i use my .223 for) DEFINATLY want to go with 30-06 or .300 win and like was stated, have a good sidearm as backup.
87conquest check pm
the ballistics tests tell a different tale. and i doubt anyone in the army disliked the fact they could carry more ammo and still have the accuracy and stopping power of a 30-06.
and i want a garand if you can get me one.
