I would really like to get into Dunnville/Auto X racing this coming year and dont wanna spend a ton to get into it.
So what I am looking for is suggestions for cars I can pick up for under 4g that fit this purpose with little modification. I would also like to drive it from time to time normally so I would prefer nice condition inside and out.
So I am thinking I like RWD better so keep that in mind but I am open to anything
BMW 3 series really sparks my interest as I would like something I could drive all year long as often as I choose. Again this is not to be a dedicated race car.
Post em up and trades for the Lexus would be a bonus because then I can get to work.
And I think I would like another 944 because I miss mine often or a clean fun 5.0 because they can handle with suspension mods.
Should also be able to find an older Miata for that kind of money. Throw in ~$500-1000 for a proper rollbar and maybe a seat/harnesses and you should be in business.
Older miata, or mr2 comes to mind for that price. A 944 isn’t bad, but stock wouldn’t be the most fun car at either (IMO). A 944 turbo would be awesome, but $$ and hard to find. Lets see, what else for ax/rr… You could get a 3rd gen camaro and run it in FS where it does pretty well. I know there is an old celeca autox car for sale in the rochester area. You could probably also get a set up itb car for pretty cheap as well.
