actually i would be considered under CSP class once i put on the coilovers unfortunately
Sexy coilovers, are you going lower or sticking with the current height??
ehh tein is sex
nice TEIN setup…similar to mine. I love it… EDFC makes it fun too. I like buttons that do work for me.

probably just lower it for auto-x/track days
well u still are lighter than me so you might be
Actually, I suggest that you read this before adding water to that Kool-aid.

Technically puts you in Modified and as per page 183:
But if it were up to me I wouldn’t bump you up to a higher class, but bump you down into ES and watch you get beat by a Miata with a stock suspension.
Nice setup dude! to tein
I could care less what class I’m in really. I don’t plan on winning anything any time soon if at all anyway. Novice school was fun as hell and I want to do it again, I just don’t like the soft suspension of this car
I don’t see how electronic controls are an advantage over manually adjustable units in an event where you get several runs with breaks in between?
I honestly don’t know if EDFC is considered “active” or not. I just felt like quoting the rules in a manner that made it sound like I was pointing something out.
IMO, I think that if adjustments could be made while the car was in motion then that is active. As with the 50th Anniversary Vette (just off the top of my head example).
Let’s say that I know that the car is great with the shocks set to “1” for the slalom, but on the turn around “9” is awesome and back to “4” for the rest of the course. If there was a convenient push button system then there would be an advantage.
If someone has the time to do that, then they should enjoy the half second advantage IMO. Hardly seems like that is how most system work to me, although steering wheel controls would be sweet.
What if he removed the control unit from reach for the event? Then it is essentially a manual setup.
nice tires…I wouldn’t consider that active suspension
lol it makes sense though and i defiantly see where you are coming from, i too would consider that active. now weather or not one would be able to switch back and forth without losing speed/concentration is another story. i know i would not be able to do that, i would probably end up running someone over trying to find buttons
thats probably what i would end up doing
nice kool-aid
