Any updates on fios getting the sabres hd feed?
Does anyone know what causes a buzzing sound/freezing? (Dish) It happens to me all the time, brief but annoying.
Is it a DVR? Could be low signal at the Dish, or the receiver shitting the bed.
Go to Menu -> system setup -> Installation -> Point Dish
Check satellite 119, transponders 14,15,16, and 21
Check satellite 110, transponders 14,15,16, and 21
Check satellite 61.5, transponders 10,14,29, 31
You may or may not have all these satellites. Depends on if you have HD programming and when you were installed.
It’ll take a few seconds for the signal to lock in on each transponder but will say Locked- 119 or Locked- 110 when it is locked.
Get back to me with the signal levels.
Thanks, I’ll check it out. I have DVR but not on that TV, although it could be happening on all of them, I only really use one so I don’t know.
not sure when but i heard it will be coming, but even tho msg isnt hd the fios picture quality is still really good
I really hope that with people switching from Dish to DirecTV they are at least getting someone on NYSpeed’s name to get $100/$100 free for both people!!!
My brother switched last week and didn’t even ask anyone! I was furious… we both could have got $100 off of our accounts for the referral! We called DirecTV to try and get it a couple of days later and they said “Sorry, you have to do it right when they sign up.”
