Yeah well i have a roll bar, and harness. WIth no seat belts to wear. Not to mention the Bald Toyo Ra-1(DOT legal mind you), and no rear seats. Nice thing is though there are no exterior mods at all besides being low, with stock honda alloys.
I was pulled over going to race in Ohio before 82 in a 65. I was let off with a warning i think due to the fact i was going to race. At the time i was 17 and on a juniors license, supposely on juniors license you cant drive outta of state, but how the hell is Ohio cop going to know that?.
I have really annoying exhaust now, i would probably give myself a ticket if i was on it a decent bit.
Again he can’t just pull out the meter and stick it in the pipe. He has to follow the testing procedures which I;m sure he has no clue of.
I would just call the local magistrate.

i got pulled over for speeding in my mcSS. He checked out my shit and came back and asked me how big my exhaust was and i said 2 and quarter and he said " Go get some 3 inch duals on this and have a nice day" muscle cars > imports/ricers/etc…

if i ever got pulled over in my GS i would tell them the exhuast is standard equipment for 1970 and make them go through hassel of lookin that up. what the hell they gonna do about it
just make sure youre under 115db at cruising rpm… which (dont quote me) is typically taken at 2500-3000rpm

Im guessing you car is no way near louder then a harley, nor a pat bus when they really get on it. From my understanding you are not aloud to touch the Cat. fedral law, not like any one listens to it any way, but still, I got pulled over one time in my monte BBC with open headers, I completely understood where the cop was comming from, I had to go in front of a judge and state “No disrepect but when you pay for my gas,parts, and insurance then you can tell me what to do with my car” I also stated"you are clearly violateing my right for speech and expression"---- Case dismissed! know your rights
