not looking for a complete tear off or anything, I don’t plan on staying here long enough to justify the cost, however the wind pulled off some shingles this summer and I have an aprox 2’ x 2’ spot that is leaking by the exhaust vent for the bathroom, just some general repair to make it last a few more years , looking for ASAP, cash money on hand, in zip 14111

GL man. I just did this recently with my roof. Rain storm found a hole at a vent pipe and ruined my ceiling =/

Patching is tough because as you disrupt one shingle others are also disrupted. That said, I had mine patched and am hoping to get through the winter without issue. Wish me luck. 
Is it small enough an area to just slap patching compound over? Being a quick fix maybe that would do the trick.
