I played the 360 at a bestbuy kiosk, it looks nice, although it didn’t overwhelm me.

Nice. I’m sure the XBox 360 will be a huge success. I’d play it any day, but I’m probably gonna wait the year for PS3.
Yep.
And since Rockstar is mainly exclusive to Sony, i’ll wait for the next GTA to come out and get the PS3.
I was playing Xbox360 today, defenatly a sweet machine but like Hutch said nothing overwhelming.
xbox 360 is real nice, but I was never a big fan of the xbox… what I liked about it is that it was basically a PC and you could run your media player on it and play divx/xvid movies, mp3s, etc… but that’s hardly a selling point for a gaming console, LOL
I hate Sony more than I hate Microsoft (hard to believe, no?), so I’d rather get the Xbox 360. But in reality I’d rather have the Nintendo Revolution than either of them, it might be the first console I ever buy.
Well, since DreamCast is my fav console of the N64/PSX/DC era, I’m gonna go with X-Box 360 rocking hardcore. Halo 3 will be the sex, Forza 2 will break my pants and anything else will be unreal in comparison.
Second place goes to Nintendo for keeping it real. PS3 can suck it.
Sony is getting crazier

grrrrrr rootkits? Forget buying Sony CD artists. This is crap.
Wow… I was reading through that whole thing, they’ve really hit a new low. I hope someone sues their asses hard for it. The fact that it’s not in their EULA is really damnable.
Hopefully something like this will kill the sales for those certain cd’s, making those artists and possibly others worried about this being done in their future cd’s change over to another record company.
Would send a message that extreme-DRM = lame.
The other thing is, the company has signed agreements with other labels too. It may not just be Sony. This could be a huge upset to the record industry…
“Several major music labels have already used a version of the British company’s technology on prerelease compact discs distributed for review and other early-listening purposes, including on recent albums from Eminem and U2…”

Here’s teh list of most of the cd’s affected (AKA CD’s not to buy… not that you should priate them, you could buy it from itunes and have fun with their DRM bullsh*t too)
Trey Anastasio, Shine (Columbia)

Neil Diamond, 12 Songs (Columbia)
Our Lady Peace, Healthy in Paranoid Times (Columbia)
Chris Botti, To Love Again (Columbia)
Van Zant, Get Right with the Man (Columbia)
Switchfoot, Nothing is Sound (Columbia)
The Coral, The Invisible Invasion (Columbia)
Acceptance, Phantoms (Columbia)
Susie Suh, Susie Suh (Epic)
Amerie, Touch (Columbia)
Life of Agony, Broken Valley (Epic)
Horace Silver Quintet, Silver’s Blue (Epic Legacy)
Gerry Mulligan, Jeru (Columbia Legacy)
Dexter Gordon, Manhattan Symphonie (Columbia Legacy)

The Dead 60s, The Dead 60s (Epic)

Natasha Bedingfield, Unwritten (Epic)
Ricky Martin, Life (Columbia) (labeled as XCP, but, oddly, the disc had no protection)
Haha, on another DRM note. Xbox 360 has been displaying that one of its great features is that it can play music directly from an ipod. But its been confirmed that any music purchased from iTunes music store will not be able to be played.
Very true. Apparently, its because Apple isn’t willing to license their DRM tools to Microsoft, so that MS’s Media Player in the Xbox 360 cant decode the songs properly.
Oh man, I’ve got to do some work…
Aren’t I glad I don’t buy my music then?
Sony has three lawsuits against it!
