not really any bigger than an Xterra. My grandmother has an '04 and its not all that big at all.
I own a Jeep Patriot, not that it can really compare at all to a Wrangler and I absolutely hate it. It has me completely turned off by the Jeep product so I would say go with the Xterra.
one of my old friends had an 05 xterra and the rear bumper basically rotted off, she has a brand new 2011 and its fucking sweeeeet
