no we don’t like the people who give the industry and culture we are promoting a bad name.
racing up W Liberty makes people who race on deserted highways at 3am get the tickets too. if morons like you didn’t race in downtown or the city ingeneral we wouldn’t have news teams talking about the problem of street racing.
that and the fact that at least 50% of the people here race at national events of some kind instead of the street. you are about 5 years to late coming to the street racing scene and you probably got your inspiration from the fast and the furious to even try to street race. talk to the guys who have been racing for 5 years or more and they will tell you about the old time street races with 100-200 cars in lots just lining them up all night long and never getting a ticket and the cops actually being cool about it.
it is your fault you raced on a city street and it is because of that you wrecked your car. it doesn’t matter if the other guy was DUI. if you wouldn’t have raced you wouldn’t have been in that situation.
it is the automotive food chain. get used to it. you don’t think at a car show you would get the same positives and negitives? you don’t think if you showed up and talked to real racers they wouldn’t say the same thing about your car.
Sorry most people here are into pure street driven race cars not vinyled up Korean commuters with some flash added.
put your money into a RIPP SC kit instead of vinyl
Ok, so racing on highways annd racing on West Liberty r two different things? Well thanx for opening my eyes. Now I know. ASnd just cuz it was westliberty, doesnt mean it wasnt “deserted” I ain’t that dumb. It was late, no traffic, and it wasnt even like it was a serious race. Just a “pass and go” sort of thing. Just plain fun. And no, I didnt get the inspiration From F&F… just something I’ve enjoyed doing since I got my car.
No, not because you drive a 2005 Korean car. My girlfriend used to autocross a Tiburon and kicked a ton of ass in it running HS. But she did only things that would help it like Hawk brake pads and race tires. Then when the factory warranty was up she traded that peice of shit in. I could care less if your car was made in Japan, USA, Korea, Germany wherever. It’s the cheesy shit people do to them after they get them and try to “customize” them, that shit is annoying. People put bodykits, big wings, alteeza tail lights and still have stock motor, brakes etc… Then they brag about how they street race like you did in your second post. Pretty fucking lame to say the least. There are plenty of places to race legally without wrecking into someone just trying to go or get home from work or kill some one that would happen to run in front of you. Also, the reason you don’t catch shit at car shows is because all those fags are at the bottom of the car food chain and are all into gay cheesy car shit. Most people on this site aren’t into that sort of thing.
