I dunno… theres just so many different aspects to the game that make it interesting.
I’ve played hockey since I was ~5 and ended up playing for Shaker/Colonie varsity, and also played lax up to colonie varsity (we sucked).
I was mad small in high school though, i’d love to lay into someone now on skates and ruin their day

i played for troy albany then i played for the albany river men
hells yea thats what i have been saying for ever. hockey players are in amazin shape. in hs i was fat but i was the fastest runner in the school because i had hockey 4 times a week one house practice and one travel practice then 2 games on week ends sprinting across the ice almost the hole time. it sucks now im a adult theres no time for athletic fun
