Skys/Solstices are really getting my attention. I really liked the one I drove. However, if you plan to mod, I’d have to say Stook for reliability.

One of these days I’m going to seriously consider getting a sky and making a real project out of it. Those cars can look mean if done right.

I would buy a Toyota Solara, a nice white one with the new body style and a V6.

Good size car, and cheap to insure.

My dad owns a regular hard top 4 cyl Solara, but it’s definitely a nice car.

I’d go with the s2k any day though.

Miata. Buy one for 6 grand, install a high performance turbo setup and suspension mods for under 4k, and for under 10 you will have a sick performer.

Spend the other 5k on hookers?

If you can deal with the fact that you are driving a Miata, this is a great plan. Second Gens are sexy as fuxor too!

It may not have the performance of the M Roadster but it is still a nice car for the money and I would take it over the other cars mentioned.
I am a Porschephile so I would drive a $5000 914 over any of the other cars mentioned, pretty sad I know.
