do the test pipe!!! Not sure if you’ve ever had a convertible before but exhaust noises are awesome with the top down. I know with s2k though that too loud can be horrible with the top up
Love it.
i would do it. with the intake noise (not sure if yours changes over stock) i think it sounds a lot better. but with an exhaust mod it def sounds a lot better so it’s not just the stupid honda vtec intake noise im sure you’re familiar with lol. i think the intake made the car a lot louder more than anything.
only thing that sucks is when you come to a stop with the top down. Obv smells bad. more so than other cars i’ve had
Hurry up, you’ve been saying this for ages.
Nice choice, I’ll always be a honda fan boiiiii.
cant be any worse than the roush blowing right outside the door lol
makes sense… it’s common for a BMW owner to go to something like an S2000 for a while, then come back.
lol, they always come back. After blowing up his rear end at stock HP levels he will come to his senses. lol
Better rear end than 20 transmissions? :gotme: <3
how long do you think a s2k tranny would hold up to 1000whp and 1.4 60fts? The bmw ZF is stronger then the honda, sorry to burst your bubble geennaroh.
Cant wait to get mine out of storage. Snowboardings pretty much done for me, so its time for the car!!! Love the s2000 and happy as hell I picked it up.
On a side note if noone has said to you. Make sure you have good tires/tread, they get very ass happy in rain when it glasses over. It can be a scary drive in the rain. Also, have fun with how easy it gets sideways. lol
:rolljerk:
An S2K doesn’t need 1000rwhp dynoqueen status to be fun angryjawnovan.
I love this car stock! lol Just upgrade the rims/tires to get better traction for cornering. I noticed with the stock ap1 at least the 6" wide fronts and 6.5" in the back made the car a little jumpy, squirly when a bump hit on a turn. Changed to 225/45/17’s which is about an 8" wide tire front and back and found a dramatic difference taking the same corners.
I know this is an ap2 < ap1 9k redline. lol
agree to disagree.
I didnt realize s2000’s were designed to be fast let alone have 1000hp to them. You fooled me.
actually people are blowing up stock auto trans with stock turbos for the 335i’s so i wouldnt say they are bullet proof…
i could care less about the 1000hp, when i get bored of the 200whp i will throw a small turbo on it and be happy with 350-400whp and reliability all day long
dont get me wrong i loved the 335i, but way too many issues with fueling systems and knock detection for me… the only way id get another one is to lease it so i can turn it back in before it turns into a pos at 40k miles
240hp to be exact lol But be careful anything higher than about 300-350hp on the rearend, they definitely arent designed for more stress than what we already give these cars.
35 posts on a build thread and nothing has even happened yet ! Lol
