Why does the oem setup have a hardline attached to the caliper? intsead of just a flex from the frame to the caliper?
Is there any risk in running a braided line directly in the caliper, and therfore elimating the the hardline on the caliper.
That’s not a brake issue Nelson. Thats just the way it is.
The hard line is fixed to a bracket. There is no flex from the bracket to the caliper. There is flex from the bracket to the frame how ever.
If someone makes SS flex lines that are designed to go from the body to the caliper…it’s fine as long as it’s mounted and secured properly.
I’m just trying to remember if my braided lines still use the hard lines on the calipers…hmm
perfect that EXACTLY what i need to know, the lines i’m getting can be made to screwed directly into the oem hardline on the caliper, or a new one that i can make.
Or screw directly into the caliper, which is what i’ve opted for.
