Well i tinted the taillights this weekend, just askin for comments… you dont have to like it and you dont have to hate it

Pretty nice. I still said I’d rock a Cobalt SS for a DD w/ the !wing mod of course.

what does the police man think of those tinted tail lights?

talked to bethel, castle shannon, and even mt lebanon about them, they said that they can still see the reflective and the parking lights lights…
and the brakes are still bright… so they said they cant do anything about it,

now coming from a mt lebanon cop i was surprised myself :cool:

those are way to dark!!!

they work fine, they dont look half as dark as on film

hopefully not at night after a few drinks.
it would suck to get nailed for a DUI because a cop stopped you for some spray painted tail lights on your DD, and smelled beer

If anyone really feels like buying an ecotec powered car instead of the cobalt check out either the saturn sky or the pontiac solstice. At least their rwd.

If the Solstice/Sky sell well… and according to presales numbers, theyre doing outstanding…crushing the BMW Z4 in sales and performance numbers, theyll begin to construct a Solstice GXP with a modified Cobalt SS/Ion Redline engine. 2.0L Supercharge… but with 240hp.

i seen a nice cobolt a couple days ago… it was at an intersection on penn ave. wrecked into an 95-04 cavalier

i saw a sky a couple weeks ago in silver and i really liked it. its a beautiful car and it has an optional LSD :slight_smile:
