Makes me wish I was a billionaire so I could buy it for a toy.
Can you get a right hand drive car legally inspected in the U.S.? Or would you have to pay to have it converted (or convert it here)?
have to pay to have it converted
you don’t ‘convert’ to left hand drive… you just have it pass all the dot tests and it’s legal… only a handful of companies do the certification, as you would have to crash a lot of skylines to prove it is dot legal.
motorex is the only company that does it
Ok, so even if that Skyline came to the US as a normal left hand drive car, it still wouldn’t be able to be inspected or anything b/c its not been crash tested and the such to be certified to be driven in the U.S.?
correct… jap standards aren’t even close to dot… it does cost some loot too… like $15-20 if i remember correctly.
I think RBmotoring does it too…but those are the only two companies. and it costs a shitload. Not really worth it in my opinion.
thought you could buy them in the US for like 80,000 ???
you just paid 190,000 b4 shipping… i think you you can swing it :burnout:
pure horseshit IMHO. They are asking 200K for this car that is supposedly uber rare and all they have are some dimly lit pics from a car show?
