hey i was wondering if someone knows were i can get a 17 digit vin for my jdm car?

i have safety’s for jdm cars

I don’t think that the safety is the problem, its the insurance lol.

Anyway this question has been answered before but I’m having a hard time with the search…

yea, it shouldnt be a problem. My car still has the 10 digit vin number and was no problem with my insurance company. You might need an appraisal to use it. Not sure.

U dont need a 17 digit vin. Mine is not 17 digits and I got it insured and registered no problem.

^^ same here, depending on the car the insurance company might just insure it as is
