17x9 with 215/50/17..?

My rims are 17x9 +35 upfront and +11 in the rear with the widebody. The tires i got for free and would just like to roll on them for the summer.

Ive got a feeling im going to rub the GR2’s in the front…I had 255/45/17s which came with the wheels on before and they didnt rub until i let the car off the jacks. Im not sure if it was the top or the side of the tire that was rubbing the shock…the 215 is a nyce stretch and ive got a lot of sidewall to play with…any predictions wether my fronts will rub or not?

not sure if that will help but I had octanes from fast 17X9 + 35 on the front and they cleared my gr2 just fine with 235 tires on them.
I only had to run the 10 mm spacer to clear the Z brakes.

If it rubs when off the lift, but doesn’t rub on the lift then it’s not the shocks that are touching the tires because the bottom spring seat moves with the tire, not seperate from the tire.

With the weight of the car on the tire i think it bloats up a bit causing it to expand outwards or upwards making it rub either the side of the shock or top of the spring seat…
