Just wonderin what you guys with sleds use for oil. I was thinking of getting some klotz racing oil again.

Dont buy expensive oil for that sled, you’re throwing money away. At the most, buy the dino skidoo oil, its around 17 dollars per gallon. But, you’ll be just fine going to walmart and buying 9-dollar-per-gallon 2-cycle oil. I used to burn cheap penszoil in it, every 500 miles I’d pop the exhaust valves out and wipe them down but they were never dirty.
I still have those parts for you in my car.
if you are thinking about using Klotz oil make sure you get the Techniplate oil for sleds, the r-50 is for pre-mix only. it is designed to stay in suspension in gas, and will not work well in an injection system, especially when its cold.

Skidoo semisynthetic I think it is. Cause I get a disco at Alpinhaus and it is like $20 a gal or so. It goes into a MXZ600 with a fresh top end. smokes like a Mutha when it is cold but warms up after a few minues and works fine and is low to no smoke after it is warmed up.
