No those are def BBK RK plasmas, which look very similar to the FR500’s, but obviously much nicer. Only thing that sucks is that they are discontinued, and BBS doesnt re-coat the plasma finish, so the wheels pull stupid money.

After the port. He got it dynotuned this past November I believe. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a pullied Cobra making 500, although there might be a couple out there.

Yeah, 490-520 seems to be about the norm, depending on the specific setup and the dyno it was on.

Not really sure how fast they are supposed to be, but I know that the car is full weight. He sprayed a 75 shot and was even with a 2.3 Whipple car last year.
Keep in mind too that we only got the one run in and everyone (or every car for that matter) doesn’t run their best every time. Throw a passenger in my car too and give him a better run and it could be the exact opposite race.
What’s done to yours and what kind of numbers does it run? I’ve always been a fan of convertible 2003-2004 Cobras :beer

Mines mostly stock. I have an SCT tune and off road catback and k&n intake. Car has Nitto NT555R DRs and went a best of 12.3.

yup def BBK’s. no doubt about it…i made 504 with a port and an upper pulley with a filter and x pipe/exhaust, stock manifolds plenum and tb. ported blowers are an awesome bang for the buck mod but the eatons really get too hot to play on the highway unless you are hitting it with spray, but your camaro prob weighed how much less than that cobra?? and how much steam do you “think” your car makes? but if he ran that car even remotely close to the time he raced you, he would be down almost 40 to 50 wheel from heat soak id say. does he run a larger lower pulley? it was a great run either way. and tell him to hit that sucker with a 100 shot ALL DAY LONG! lol
